New series: Film Insight

We are currently recording a new series which will teach you how to make films by going through the building blocks of film making. The first episode will be about cameras, because how could you make a film without one?

We are currently editing a 2 part series about a certain political party that we happen to be opposed to, for good reason, but you’ll just have to wait and see which one.

This is just a little aside just to tell you about what will be coming up soon. Make sure you check up on the humble cookie site regularly for new content. Have a nice day.

Film Starring: Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple

Genre: Fantasy

A dark twist on the classic tale of Sleeping Beauty, this movie follows the villain of the story, Maleficent, and discovers the intention behind her infamous actions.

I was a little late to the party watching this, as it came out on the same day as Edge of Tomorrow (which I reviewed previously) and I had to choose between the two, but as this film was an expected  summer blockbuster, in 3D and an inevitably popular one to go and see, I knew I would watch it eventually.

As a war rages on between the human race and a group of aliens, Sergeant Cage is forced into battle and is consequently infected by an extra-terrestrial virus which causes him to be stuck in a constant time loop, and must seek help in famed soldier Rita to return his life to normal.

Have director’s forgotten how to film action? Signs are pointing to that conclusion, but every now and then you come across a gem that stands out from the rest, a sign that there is hope, and I found that in this film.
