2015 Oscar Predictions: December Edition

SpotlightBy Orla Smith

This month my predictions have shifted drastically. Now we’ve seen all the contenders, the Oscar race is clearer than ever. Many critics groups and awards ceremonies have already announced their nominations and even winners, so we have a good idea of what’s to come, although this year, strangely, there really aren’t many clear frontrunners. It seems that in a lot of categories, Oscar night could go one way or another.

MY REVIEW:

Around this time of year, there’s always a slew of holiday movies, but I was excited to see Krampus in the hopes that it would provide something a little different and more sinister. That’s definitely what it does, and for what it is it provides sporadic entertainment, but it doesn’t quite work as thoroughly as I’d have liked it to.
